Fair Play Policy

1. Introduction

Skill91 is committed to maintaining a transparent, fair, ethical, and merit-based educational assessment environment for every participant. This Fair Play Policy establishes the standards of honesty, integrity, responsibility, and ethical conduct expected from every individual using the Skill91 platform. The purpose of this Policy is to ensure that every participant receives an equal opportunity to demonstrate their genuine knowledge, creativity, practical skills, and educational abilities without unfair influence, manipulation, deception, or dishonest practices.

The credibility of educational assessments depends upon the authenticity of participant submissions and the fairness of the evaluation process. Accordingly, Skill91 adopts reasonable administrative, technical, and operational measures to discourage dishonest conduct, prevent misuse of platform services, protect legitimate participants, preserve the value of certificates and Academic Grants, and maintain confidence in the Skill91 educational ecosystem.

This Fair Play Policy should be read together with the Skill91 Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Assessment & Evaluation Policy, Academic Grant Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, KYC & Verification Policy, and all other legal documents published within the Skill91 Legal Center. Where additional assessment-specific rules are published, those rules shall also apply together with this Policy.

By creating an account, registering for an assessment, submitting photographs, videos, written responses, presentations, documents, portfolios, or any other assessment material, making payments, applying for Academic Grants, receiving certificates, or otherwise accessing Skill91 services, every participant acknowledges that they have carefully read, understood, and agreed to comply with this Fair Play Policy.

2. Purpose of this Policy

The primary objective of this Fair Play Policy is to establish uniform standards that promote fairness, transparency, academic integrity, ethical participation, and equal opportunity across every assessment conducted through Skill91. The Policy seeks to protect both individual participants and the overall credibility of the Skill91 platform by ensuring that assessment outcomes are determined through genuine performance rather than dishonest practices.

This Policy has been developed to discourage plagiarism, identity impersonation, multiple account abuse, unauthorized collaboration, artificial manipulation of assessment results, certificate misuse, Academic Grant fraud, payment abuse, document forgery, and every other activity capable of compromising the integrity of educational assessments conducted through Skill91.

Fair participation benefits every member of the Skill91 community. Honest participants deserve equal opportunities to compete based solely upon their own abilities, while evaluators require confidence that submitted work accurately represents the participant’s own knowledge and effort. This Policy therefore establishes clear behavioural expectations while also describing the rights of Skill91 to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action where necessary.

3. Scope of this Policy

This Fair Play Policy applies to every individual accessing or using the Skill91 platform, including visitors, registered users, assessment participants, Academic Grant applicants, certificate recipients, mentors, educators, evaluators, reviewers, moderators, customer support representatives, business partners, and any other person participating in Skill91 services where fair participation is reasonably expected.

The Policy applies throughout the entire lifecycle of an assessment, including registration, payment, account verification, assessment participation, content submission, evaluation, moderation, publication of merit rankings, issuance of certificates, processing of Academic Grants, wallet services, customer support interactions, appeals, dispute resolution, and any post-assessment verification activities conducted by Skill91.

The principles described in this Policy apply equally to assessments involving photographs, videos, written submissions, presentations, research work, coding assignments, creative portfolios, practical demonstrations, interviews, digital projects, or any other assessment format introduced by Skill91 in the future.

4. Principles of Fair Participation

Every participant is expected to act honestly, responsibly, respectfully, and independently while using the Skill91 platform. Participants should submit only genuine work, provide accurate information, respect assessment rules, avoid unfair advantages, cooperate with verification procedures, and maintain professional conduct throughout every interaction with Skill91.

Skill91 believes that educational success should reflect individual merit, genuine learning, creativity, knowledge, and practical ability rather than deception, manipulation, automation, unauthorized assistance, or fraudulent practices. Every assessment conducted through the platform is therefore expected to reflect the participant’s own skills unless collaborative participation has been expressly permitted within the applicable assessment guidelines.

Participants are expected to respect fellow participants, evaluators, reviewers, moderators, customer support personnel, and all representatives of Skill91. Harassment, intimidation, abusive communication, discriminatory behaviour, threats, or attempts to improperly influence assessment outcomes are inconsistent with the values of Skill91 and may result in disciplinary action under this Policy.

5. Participant Responsibilities

Every participant using the Skill91 platform is expected to act honestly, responsibly, and in accordance with the educational objectives of the assessment. Participants are responsible for carefully reviewing all assessment instructions, eligibility requirements, submission guidelines, deadlines, technical requirements, and applicable platform policies before participating in any assessment.

Participants shall ensure that all information submitted during registration, identity verification, assessment participation, certificate requests, Academic Grant applications, wallet services, customer support interactions, and other platform activities is accurate, complete, current, and truthful. Submission of inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete information may adversely affect eligibility for certain services and may result in administrative action under this Policy.

Each participant remains solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, passwords, verification codes, registered email address, mobile number, and other authentication information. Participants shall immediately notify Skill91 if they reasonably believe that their account has been accessed without authorization or compromised in any manner.

6. Honesty and Ethical Conduct

Skill91 expects every participant to demonstrate honesty, integrity, fairness, and ethical behaviour throughout the entire assessment process. Educational assessments are intended to measure genuine knowledge, creativity, practical ability, communication skills, technical competence, and other assessment objectives through the participant’s own efforts.

Participants shall not knowingly engage in dishonest practices including false declarations, identity impersonation, document forgery, manipulation of assessment materials, submission of fabricated information, misleading communication, concealment of relevant facts, or any conduct intended to obtain an unfair advantage over other participants.

Ethical participation extends beyond the submission itself. Participants are expected to communicate respectfully with evaluators, moderators, customer support representatives, and other participants. Attempts to intimidate, threaten, influence, harass, or improperly persuade any representative of Skill91 regarding assessment outcomes are strictly prohibited.

7. Original Work Requirement

Unless an assessment expressly permits collaboration or the use of specified external resources, every assessment submission must represent the participant’s own original work prepared specifically for the relevant assessment. Originality is fundamental to maintaining educational integrity and ensuring fair evaluation for every participant.

Participants shall not submit copied, plagiarized, previously published, purchased, borrowed, commissioned, fabricated, or otherwise unauthorized work as their own original submission. This restriction applies equally to written content, photographs, videos, presentations, software code, research material, designs, artwork, portfolios, audio recordings, and every other type of assessment submission accepted by Skill91.

Where quotations, publicly available reference materials, or third-party resources are expressly permitted within an assessment, participants are expected to use such resources responsibly and in accordance with the assessment guidelines published by Skill91.

8. Independent Participation

Participants are expected to complete every assessment independently unless the assessment specifically permits teamwork or collaborative participation. Independent participation ensures that evaluation results accurately reflect the knowledge, creativity, effort, and practical ability of the individual participant.

Participants shall not permit another individual to complete an assessment on their behalf, submit work prepared by another person, exchange assessment answers, share confidential assessment materials during restricted periods, or otherwise allow another individual to influence the outcome of an assessment in an unauthorized manner.

Skill91 reserves the right to investigate any circumstance suggesting unauthorized collaboration, proxy participation, coordinated submissions, organized cheating, or any activity reasonably believed to compromise the fairness of the assessment process.

9. Responsible Communication

Participants are expected to maintain respectful, professional, and constructive communication while interacting with Skill91, its representatives, evaluators, moderators, support personnel, and other participants. Communications should remain courteous, factual, and relevant to the matter being discussed.

The use of abusive language, discriminatory remarks, hate speech, threats, intimidation, harassment, defamatory statements, misleading allegations, spam, or repeated disruptive communication is inconsistent with the standards of the Skill91 community and may result in disciplinary action under this Policy.

Participants shall not attempt to influence assessment results, evaluation decisions, certificate issuance, Academic Grant processing, or any administrative decision through gifts, financial incentives, personal pressure, unauthorized requests, or any other improper means.

10. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automated Tools

Skill91 recognizes that artificial intelligence technologies are becoming increasingly available for educational, research, writing, programming, image generation, video creation, and content development. While such technologies may be valuable learning resources, participants must use them responsibly and strictly in accordance with the requirements of the relevant assessment.

Unless an assessment expressly permits the use of artificial intelligence tools, participants shall not submit content that has been substantially generated, rewritten, completed, or materially altered by AI systems as their own original work where originality, independent thinking, creativity, technical ability, or personal skill forms part of the assessment criteria.

Where AI-assisted work is permitted, participants remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, legality, quality, completeness, and authenticity of every submission. The use of AI shall not transfer responsibility from the participant to any software, technology provider, or third-party service.

Skill91 reserves the right to conduct manual review, request supporting files or working drafts, seek clarification regarding the preparation of submitted work, or use reasonable methods to evaluate whether a submission appears consistent with the applicable assessment requirements.

11. Plagiarism and Unauthorised Copying

Plagiarism is strictly prohibited on the Skill91 platform. Every participant is expected to produce genuine work that honestly reflects their own knowledge, understanding, creativity, practical ability, and educational effort. Any attempt to present another person’s work as one’s own may compromise the fairness of the assessment process.

Plagiarism may include copying text, photographs, videos, software code, research material, artwork, presentations, assignments, designs, documents, portfolios, or any other intellectual work from another individual, educational institution, website, publication, digital platform, or any other source without proper authorization where originality is required.

Participants shall also avoid self-plagiarism where an assessment specifically requires newly prepared or assessment-specific work. Previously submitted work should not be reused where the applicable assessment rules require original content prepared exclusively for that assessment.

12. Copyright and Intellectual Property Compliance

Participants are responsible for ensuring that every file, image, video, audio recording, document, design, presentation, software program, written response, or other material submitted through Skill91 is lawfully obtained and does not infringe the intellectual property rights or legal interests of any third party.

Submission of copyrighted material without appropriate permission, unauthorized reproduction of protected content, removal of copyright notices, misuse of trademarks, or violation of intellectual property rights may result in rejection of the submission, suspension of platform services, certificate cancellation, Academic Grant disqualification, or any other action considered appropriate under the Skill91 Terms & Conditions.

13. Use of External Resources

Participants may consult books, publicly available educational resources, official documentation, academic references, research material, or other learning resources only where such use is consistent with the rules of the relevant assessment. The mere availability of information on the internet does not authorize its unrestricted use within every assessment.

Participants shall not reproduce, substantially copy, translate, paraphrase, or otherwise present publicly available content as their own original work where originality forms part of the assessment criteria. External resources should support learning rather than replace independent participation.

14. Unauthorized Assistance

Participants shall complete assessments using their own abilities unless collaboration has been expressly permitted within the applicable assessment guidelines. Receiving unauthorized assistance from friends, family members, educational institutions, coaching providers, freelancers, consultants, agencies, or any other third party for the purpose of improving assessment outcomes is inconsistent with the principles of fair participation.

Without limitation, unauthorized assistance may include having another individual prepare or substantially complete a submission, purchasing completed work, hiring professional services to perform an assessment, exchanging answers, obtaining confidential assessment materials, or participating in organized cheating arrangements.

Participants remain solely responsible for every submission made through their Skill91 account regardless of whether the work was prepared personally or by another individual.

15. Authenticity of Submitted Content

Every submission provided through Skill91 should accurately represent the participant’s own work, effort, and abilities. Participants should retain original source files, project drafts, working notes, photographs, recordings, or other supporting materials where reasonably possible, as such materials may be requested during verification or investigation.

Where Skill91 reasonably believes that a submission has been fabricated, manipulated, purchased, copied, generated in violation of assessment rules, or otherwise lacks authenticity, Skill91 may request clarification, conduct additional review, postpone evaluation, reject the submission, or take any other action permitted under this Fair Play Policy and the Skill91 Terms & Conditions.

16. Identity Misrepresentation

Every participant must participate in assessments using their own genuine identity. Users shall not impersonate another individual, create false identities, submit another person’s documents, use another participant’s account, or otherwise misrepresent their identity while using any Skill91 service.

Identity misrepresentation includes, without limitation, providing false personal information, using forged verification documents, participating under another person’s name, creating accounts using another individual’s contact information, submitting assessments on behalf of another participant, or attempting to obtain educational benefits through deceptive identity practices.

Where Skill91 reasonably suspects identity impersonation or false identity usage, the platform may immediately suspend the relevant account, initiate additional verification procedures, invalidate assessment participation, withhold certificates, suspend Academic Grant processing, restrict wallet services, or permanently terminate the account where appropriate.

17. Multiple Accounts and Account Abuse

Unless expressly authorized by Skill91, every participant is expected to maintain only one active Skill91 account. Creating multiple accounts to gain additional assessment attempts, duplicate Academic Grant eligibility, promotional benefits, referral rewards, ranking advantages, or any other unfair benefit is strictly prohibited.

Skill91 may investigate accounts that display similar identity information, payment details, IP activity, device identifiers, registration behaviour, or other indicators reasonably suggesting duplicate account creation or coordinated misuse.

Where unauthorized multiple accounts are identified, Skill91 may merge records where appropriate, cancel duplicate registrations, remove assessment submissions, revoke certificates, reject Academic Grant eligibility, suspend wallet functionality, or permanently disable one or more associated accounts.

18. Device, Network and Technical Misuse

Participants shall not attempt to interfere with the normal operation of the Skill91 platform through unauthorized technical means. Prohibited conduct includes attempts to bypass platform security, manipulate assessment systems, interfere with platform functionality, exploit software vulnerabilities, automate restricted platform activities, or otherwise compromise the security or reliability of Skill91 services.

Without limitation, prohibited technical activities may include the use of automated scripts, bots, malicious software, unauthorized browser extensions, modified applications, automated submission tools, reverse engineering, vulnerability exploitation, denial-of-service activities, or any other technology intended to obtain an unfair advantage or disrupt platform operations.

Skill91 reserves the right to monitor platform activity using reasonable technical measures to identify suspicious behaviour, automated activity, abnormal usage patterns, repeated unauthorized requests, or other conduct inconsistent with normal educational participation.

19. Assessment Manipulation

Participants shall not attempt to manipulate assessment outcomes through unauthorized communication with evaluators, coordinated participation, organized cheating, false reporting, fabricated evidence, bribery, intimidation, threats, payment offers, or any other improper influence intended to affect assessment results, rankings, certificates, Academic Grants, or administrative decisions.

Any attempt to influence the evaluation process outside the officially established procedures may result in immediate investigation, disqualification, suspension of services, cancellation of certificates, withdrawal of Academic Grant eligibility, or permanent account termination depending upon the seriousness of the conduct.

20. Fraudulent Activities

Skill91 maintains a zero-tolerance approach towards fraudulent conduct. Fraudulent activity includes any intentional act designed to deceive Skill91, other participants, evaluators, payment providers, educational partners, or any other person connected with the platform for the purpose of obtaining an unfair educational, financial, administrative, or reputational advantage.

Fraudulent conduct may include submission of forged documents, manipulated screenshots, fabricated payment confirmations, false refund claims, certificate forgery, identity theft, Academic Grant fraud, payment abuse, fake complaints, fabricated evidence, misuse of promotional offers, or any other dishonest activity inconsistent with this Fair Play Policy.

Where fraudulent conduct is reasonably established, Skill91 may permanently terminate the relevant account, invalidate assessment participation, revoke certificates, cancel Academic Grant eligibility, refuse future registrations, recover improperly obtained platform benefits where legally permissible, and take any additional action reasonably necessary to protect the interests of Skill91 and its users.

21. Platform Monitoring

To preserve the fairness, integrity, and security of educational assessments, Skill91 may monitor assessment participation, registration behaviour, account activity, uploaded submissions, payment records, verification status, technical logs, device activity, communication records, and other operational information reasonably necessary for fraud detection, security monitoring, policy enforcement, dispute resolution, and platform improvement.

Such monitoring is conducted solely for legitimate operational, educational, administrative, and security purposes and shall be carried out in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy and other legal documents published by Skill91.

22. Assessment Monitoring and Review

To maintain the integrity, transparency, fairness, and credibility of every educational assessment, Skill91 reserves the right to monitor assessment activities before, during, and after the evaluation process. Monitoring may include review of participant registrations, identity verification records, payment information, uploaded photographs, videos, documents, written responses, communication records, timestamps, technical logs, device information, submission history, and other operational records reasonably necessary to verify compliance with this Fair Play Policy.

Assessment monitoring may be conducted through reasonable automated systems, manual review, moderation procedures, technical analysis, or other operational methods considered appropriate for maintaining the integrity of the educational assessment process.

Monitoring activities are performed solely for legitimate educational, security, fraud prevention, quality assurance, dispute resolution, policy enforcement, certificate verification, Academic Grant administration, and platform improvement purposes.

23. Evidence Collection and Investigation

Where Skill91 reasonably believes that a participant may have violated this Fair Play Policy, the platform may initiate an internal review or investigation. Such investigations are intended to establish relevant facts before any administrative action is taken and are conducted in a fair, reasonable, and proportionate manner.

During an investigation, Skill91 may review available evidence including assessment submissions, uploaded content, technical records, payment history, account activity, verification documents, communication history, device information, moderation reports, evaluator observations, plagiarism review results, and any additional information reasonably relevant to the matter under investigation.

Skill91 may also request clarification, supporting documents, original project files, source materials, working drafts, or other information from the participant where reasonably necessary to verify the authenticity of a submission or determine whether a policy violation has occurred.

24. Evaluation Review and Moderation

In order to ensure consistency, fairness, and educational quality, Skill91 may conduct moderation or secondary review of assessment results where reasonably necessary. Moderation may be performed when unusual scoring patterns, suspected plagiarism, technical irregularities, duplicate submissions, verification concerns, or other circumstances require additional review.

Moderation procedures may involve qualified evaluators, subject matter experts, authorized reviewers, or designated members of the Skill91 team. Such review is intended to protect both genuine participants and the overall credibility of the assessment process.

25. Disqualification

Participants who are found, after reasonable review, to have materially violated this Fair Play Policy, the applicable assessment rules, or other Skill91 policies may be disqualified from the relevant assessment. Disqualification may occur before evaluation, during evaluation, after publication of results, or after issuance of certificates where subsequent evidence reasonably establishes that a material policy violation has occurred.

Grounds for disqualification may include plagiarism, identity impersonation, submission of fabricated or manipulated content, unauthorized collaboration, multiple account abuse, payment fraud, certificate misuse, false verification information, AI misuse contrary to assessment rules, technical manipulation, or any other conduct that materially compromises assessment integrity.

26. Merit Ranking, Certificate and Academic Grant Review

Where a participant has been disqualified or where a significant policy violation is identified after publication of assessment results, Skill91 reserves the right to review, revise, suspend, withdraw, or cancel any merit ranking, certificate, Academic Grant eligibility, educational recognition, wallet benefit, promotional reward, or other platform benefit that was obtained in connection with the affected assessment.

Such action may be taken where reasonably necessary to preserve fairness, protect genuine participants, maintain educational integrity, correct administrative errors, prevent fraudulent benefits, or comply with applicable platform policies.

Where appropriate, revised merit rankings or corrected assessment outcomes may be published following completion of the applicable review process.

27. Administrative Actions

Depending upon the seriousness, frequency, and circumstances of the policy violation, Skill91 may take one or more administrative actions including warning notices, requests for clarification, temporary suspension of services, rejection of submissions, cancellation of assessment participation, restriction of wallet functionality, certificate cancellation, Academic Grant disqualification, permanent account termination, restriction from future participation, or any other lawful administrative measure reasonably necessary to protect the Skill91 platform and its users.

Administrative actions shall be determined after considering the available evidence, the nature of the violation, previous conduct where relevant, the potential impact upon other participants, and the overall interests of maintaining a fair educational environment.

28. Opportunity for Clarification

Where reasonably practicable and appropriate, Skill91 may provide participants with an opportunity to clarify factual discrepancies, submit additional supporting information, explain unusual circumstances, or respond to concerns identified during an investigation before a final administrative decision is reached. However, Skill91 reserves the right to take immediate protective action without prior notice where necessary to prevent fraud, protect assessment integrity, maintain platform security, or comply with applicable legal obligations.

29. Appeals and Review Requests

Skill91 recognizes that participants may occasionally wish to seek clarification regarding an administrative decision made under this Fair Play Policy. Subject to the applicable assessment rules and available evidence, participants may submit a written request for review through the official Skill91 support channels where they reasonably believe that a material factual error has affected an assessment-related decision.

An appeal should clearly describe the relevant facts, include any supporting documentation reasonably available to the participant, and explain the basis upon which reconsideration is requested. Submission of an appeal does not automatically suspend or reverse the original administrative decision while the review process remains ongoing.

Skill91 reserves the right to review appeals using available assessment records, verification information, evaluator observations, technical logs, uploaded submissions, payment records, communication history, moderation reports, and any other information reasonably relevant to the matter.

30. Temporary Suspension

Where reasonably necessary to protect assessment integrity, platform security, or the interests of other participants, Skill91 may temporarily suspend access to one or more platform services while an investigation, verification process, payment review, or policy assessment remains pending.

Temporary suspension may affect assessment participation, certificate processing, Academic Grant administration, wallet functionality, account access, or other platform services until the relevant matter has been satisfactorily resolved.

A temporary suspension should not automatically be interpreted as a final determination that a policy violation has occurred. Suspension may be used solely as a precautionary administrative measure while relevant facts are being reviewed.

31. Permanent Restriction or Account Termination

Where Skill91 reasonably determines that a participant has committed a serious or repeated violation of this Fair Play Policy, the Terms & Conditions, or other applicable platform policies, Skill91 may permanently restrict access to selected services or terminate the participant’s account where such action is considered reasonably necessary to protect the platform and its users.

Permanent action may be considered in circumstances involving identity fraud, repeated plagiarism, certificate forgery, Academic Grant fraud, payment fraud, organized cheating, account manipulation, repeated policy violations, malicious technical activity, threats against Skill91 personnel, or other conduct materially affecting platform integrity.

32. Repeated Policy Violations

Skill91 may consider a participant’s previous compliance history when determining an appropriate administrative response. Repeated violations, continued non-compliance following prior warnings, attempts to circumvent previous restrictions, or repeated misconduct across multiple assessments may result in progressively stronger administrative measures.

Nothing in this Policy requires Skill91 to issue warnings before taking action where the seriousness of the conduct reasonably justifies immediate administrative intervention.

33. Participant Cooperation

Participants are expected to cooperate honestly and promptly with any reasonable investigation conducted under this Fair Play Policy. Cooperation may include responding to communications, providing clarification, submitting requested supporting documents, confirming identity, supplying original project files, or providing other information reasonably necessary to complete an investigation.

Failure to cooperate with reasonable investigation requests may limit Skill91’s ability to verify relevant facts and may influence the administrative handling of the matter where appropriate.

34. Record Keeping

Skill91 may maintain reasonable records relating to assessment participation, moderation activities, investigation outcomes, administrative decisions, appeals, verification procedures, payment records, certificate history, Academic Grant administration, and other operational matters for the purposes of platform management, legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, quality assurance, and historical reference.

Such records shall be managed in accordance with the Skill91 Privacy Policy, KYC & Verification Policy, and other applicable legal documents governing the handling of personal information.

35. Enforcement of this Policy

Skill91 reserves the right to interpret, administer, and enforce this Fair Play Policy in a manner reasonably consistent with its educational objectives, platform security requirements, operational procedures, and applicable legal obligations. Administrative decisions shall be based upon the information reasonably available at the time of review and may be revised where significant new information subsequently becomes available.

Nothing contained within this Policy shall prevent Skill91 from taking any additional lawful action reasonably necessary to protect the integrity, security, reputation, educational objectives, legitimate interests, or continued operation of the Skill91 platform.

36. Changes to this Fair Play Policy

Skill91 reserves the right to revise, amend, modify, replace, suspend, or update this Fair Play Policy at any time to reflect changes in educational practices, assessment methodologies, platform functionality, technological developments, fraud prevention measures, security practices, operational requirements, applicable laws, or other legitimate business needs.

Any updated version of this Fair Play Policy shall become effective upon publication within the Skill91 Legal Center or through any other official communication channel designated by Skill91, unless a different effective date is expressly specified. Participants are encouraged to review this Policy periodically before registering for assessments or using any Skill91 service.

Continued access to or use of the Skill91 platform after publication of an updated Fair Play Policy constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of the revised Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.

37. Compliance with Other Platform Policies

This Fair Play Policy forms an integral part of the Skill91 Legal Center and should always be read together with the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, KYC & Verification Policy, Assessment & Evaluation Policy, Academic Grant Policy, Disclaimer, and every other applicable legal document published by Skill91.
